Code of conduct
Drupalcamp Spain brings together people from all over the world who use, develop, design and support the Drupal platform. Many attendees at Drupalcamp Spain are newcomers to the Drupal platform or community.
The Drupal Code of Conduct outlines our shared ideals and values. This document expresses how we expect these ideals to be interpreted at our conferences and other events. Our goal is to ensure that all participants can freely and openly share ideas in a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment that fosters and inspires mutual respect and collaboration.
Come for the software, stay for the community
Drupal simply wouldn't exist without its community. We want all Drupalcamp attendees to have a great experience both inside and outside of the conference sessions themselves.
The purpose of this document is not to restrict the diversity of ideas and expressions in the Drupal community but rather to raise awareness of the potential for actions that could alienate valued members—and potential members—of the community.
We are considerate
DrupalCamp Spain is a national event—with some international attendees—that attracts diverse people from a wide variety of races, cultures, and religions. We recognize that intercultural communication can often be complicated and encourage everyone to consider the impact of their actions on those with different backgrounds and experiences and the honest intentions of those who may have unknowingly offended.
We are welcoming
One of the greatest strengths of the Drupal community is our ability to be inclusive. Making all attendees feel welcome and integrated at DrupalCamp Spain is everyone's job, including speakers and sponsors.
We are respectful
Sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, and other participants must treat all people with dignity and respect, regardless of culture, religion, physical appearance, disability, race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.
We are collaborative
If misunderstandings do occur, we encourage people to work things out with each other whenever possible. People are encouraged to take responsibility for their words and actions and to listen to criticism constructively presented with an open mind, courtesy and respect.
When we disagree, we consult others
If two or more attendees are unable to resolve issues with each other, they are encouraged to seek the advice of a mutually trusted third party or designated community volunteer to help mediate.

When we need it, we seek help
We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. If you feel threatened or violated as a result of intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or humiliating conduct; please notify a member of the conference organization immediately. Also, immediately notify a member of the organization if you notice someone else being subjected to such behavior.

The DrupalCamp Spain team wants everyone to feel safe throughout the conference. If necessary, conference staff are empowered to take appropriate action which may include, but are not limited to, warnings, dismissal from the conference without refund, and referrals to venue security or local law enforcement.
We are all in this together.
